How to apply & what information to email us?

We are asking you to tell us about yourself and why you want to attend before we confirm your participation.

Please submit a short email/document (no more than 500 words) on yourself, your leadership experience, and why you would like to attend the gathering: Who are you? Where did you grow up? What does “leadership” mean to you? What are barriers to the participation of women in leadership roles in your community? What types of projects and initiatives have you worked on that required you to take on a leadership role? What types of knowledge and skills will you bring to the gathering, and what do you hope to learn and take away from the gathering? Do you have a mentor, or have you been mentoring someone?

The gathering is being organized specifically for Indigenous women from the circumpolar world. To register you must self-identify as a woman, and be from an Indigenous nation whose territory includes Arctic or sub-Arctic regions. In your essay, please indicate what Indigenous nation you belong to, and how your nation has a relationship with Arctic or sub-Arctic lands.
